Starring Gregory Peck as Squadron Leader Bill Forrester, THE PURPLE PLAIN offers the tale of a tortured soul attempting to traverse the rocky battlefields of World War II. Forrester lost his wife during a Nazi attack and slumped into a depression that saw him losing the will to live. But this feeling soon subsides when his plane crash-lands across enemy lines and he becomes responsible for the lives of two other soldiers.
